Evander S. Laghari
Thirty-Three • Gym Sub (Fairy - Pending) • Male • Homosexual
✔ Reliable / Trustworthy - While Evander is unlikely to trust someone else enough to divulge his own secrets, fears, or emotional weights, he is a companion who'll carry safely all that's confided to him. Though not an honorable character by his own definition, it is important to him that he protects and justifies any faith entrusted to him.
✔ Paternal / Understanding - Words words words blah blippity blah blah, he's actually a nice guy i guess when he wants to be and he decides that he likes a person blah blippity blah words words words
✔ Humor / Easy Companion - "companion in evening talk" blah blah blah the kind of guy whose easy to just relax in the bar with, and talk about personal things or absolutely nothing over a drink, blah blah blah words words words
✔ Leery / Guarded - Though generous and kind, Evander is not dumbly open with his benevolence. He is not immediately accessible, naively good, nor acquiescent. Though he enjoys companionship and warmth, the doctor does not hesitate in closing that door. He isn't a person who will let himself be used. And though Evander enjoys making people happy, he is not a complaisant doormat eager to please — the doctor is perfectly capable of being hard, being firm, and saying no. He is not afraid to be unliked.
✘ Initially Aloof / Unforthcoming - Though a kind and easy companion once acquainted, Evander is not exactly inviting nor approachable at first. The opposite in fact — until he decides he likes someone and eases up, he can be markedly cold and deflecting. Considerably less affable and far more reserved, among strangers he is a completely different man from the surprisingly-pleasant and teasing gentleman he is when in the company of friends.|
✘ Selective / Untrusting - While Evander is a kind and reliable companion once befriended, he is choosy when it comes to extending his amities. Having spent over half his life in the guild (and having personally paid the harsh price of the organization's demanding allegiance) he is well aware where and to whom his warmth and generosity goes to waste. And to those he believes will only consume, Evander is rarely anything but aloof. There are times, admittedly, where he can be too quick to close himself off or make too critical a judgement, but he would rather be safe than sorry when it comes to his benevolent intentions being exploited.
✘ Fussy / Fastidious - Notoriously finicky and an exacting perfectionist, Evander is a hard character to please in anything and everything. He knows what he wants and can be too brutally vocal when his high expectations are not met (even if he isn't intending to be hurtful). Better leave the breakfast-making to him, unless you want your generous creation picked apart and critiqued whilst he moves it around his plate with a fork. Don't bother cleaning anything, because no matter how thorough of a job you do, he'll have to do it again. And don't even think of entering his bed with performance anxiety.
✘ Aggrieved / Embittered - blah blah blah about the guild and his life and yeah sux haha, has a tendency to be outright unsympathetic b/c he's seen his own shit and all that words words words
