At 170 cm (5'7"), Fatima is a smidgen taller than the average woman. Nonetheless, she can meld into the masses with relative ease. Only when she's deliberately seeking attention does she wear brassy clothing. Generally speaking, however, her wardrobe is simple. Most days a pair of jeans, a tank top, moto boots, and a utility jacket are perfectly acceptable. Fatima's hair is sleek and luscious. In fact, it's a source of envy for some. She doesn't put much effort in keeping it groomed -- just the bare minimum to maintain her hygiene. And true to her character it's always down, unconstrained by any scrunchie or hair tie. Her eyes are almond-shaped, dyed in a rich hickory hue. Expressive and warm, one can get a sense that Fatima is a reserved yet forthright individual by simply looking at them. While she doesn't vocally express her thoughts, it's easy to get a sense of what she's thinking by studying her face. She isn't as good at the poker face as she believes she is. Scars adorn the woman's torso. They're not from anything serious, just a few too many trips to the emergency room when she was a child. (So she says.) Nevertheless, she wears them with pride and views them as testimonies of her endurance and strength. The only other marking on her body is a this tattoo and, when she feels it, hoop earrings.HISTORY

~Janis JoplinFatima was born in the beautiful island region of Encantador. Her father was a state employee while her mother was an assistant professor studying Pokemon psychology, allowing Fatima to live a comfortable middle class life in the region's capital of Alto Muro. The first few years of her life were peaceful, she led an average life as an infant and a toddler, all while having as much fun as she could. Then came the divorce. Her father Jaime, remained in Alto Muro while her mother moved to the placid town of Rio Largo, a town where her mother Diana moved to Rio Largo, a placid town that was often a starting point from new trainers. The consequences of their actions didn't immediately impact their daughter but it was apparent that the little girl was confused about her new situation. Why didn't Mamí and Papí live with each other anymore? Why was she traveling back and forth between her home and Rio Largo? Why was Mamí never around?
These questions racked her brain for years, and as time went on the pain of being motherless finally seeped in. It made Fatima feel empty, and at times forced her to evaluate her life without her mother. Fatima breezed through school. A precocious child, she always had a knack for problem solving and creativity. Her best subject was mathematics and would remain her favorite subject up until her post-secondary years. In fact, had it not for the abrupt changes in her life, it was likely that Fatima would've dedicated more time to her STEM projects. When she was twelve years old, Jaime wanted to sent his daughter abroad to receive a quality education. After much relenting, Fatima was eventually boarded on an airliner destined for Altona, Numora. When she arrived, she realized she was in a completely different realm. The people were different, as were the Pokemon that populated the region. Fatima never fully adjusted to these changes and became resentful at her parents for allowing this predicament. One of the many struggles of being an immigrant was the inability to blend in with the native crowd. Fatima could never shed her Encantadoran accent, nor was she fluent in English (?). Subsequently, she was isolated by her peers and began to cultivate a solitary existence. By the time Fatima was an adolescent, she had adopted a reputation for being a socially inept prodigy. She was taking advanced courses, had mastered English (?), and was participating in internships that were normally reserved for graduating students. By then, it was less about her insecurity about her English (?) and more about the fact that anxiety and her poor ability to read social cues prevented her from making friends. Fatima didn't complain about her situation, she embraced it with a nonchalant attitude, grateful that she wasn't involved in the drama that engulfed her classmates' lives. When she was seventeen, when the world was her oyster, everything had changed. When she caught ear of the rumors that had been going around about her mother from relatives, she did some investigating and approached her father about the subject. With a heavy sigh, he told his daughter that her mother had run off with another man and his family. Falling into a sea of depression, Fatima found it hard to go on with her life, especially since it was now confirmed that her mother didn't want her. Overwhelmed with emotions, she confided in a close cousin Denny about the situation, in response he dropped his current activities to stay with Fatima in Altona. Since Denny was legally an adult, he was able to get custody over his younger cousin. He tried to be supportive but to no avail. By then Fatima had completely abandoned her self-worth. Lashing out at anyone who tried to help her, Fatima began experimenting with all sorts of vices in order to dull the pain she felt. She was still maintaining the image of a good girl, however, beneath the meekness was the Fatima that had been repressed from the world. Clever, honest, and assertive, Fatima didn't care about her self-image anymore. If she didn't care then maybe she would find the person who appreciated for who she was. That person came in the form of Miranda. A fellow Encantadoran, Miranda was a mirror image of Fatima. That was what Fatima believed initially. Beyond the pigment of their skin, the two girls were nothing alike. Miranda was a teenage mother and high school dropout. Still, the Miranda was one of the few people who cared about Fatima's well-being. It was through Miranda that Fatima became acquainted with a gang leader named Hercules. Hercules, preying upon Fatima's naivety was able to charm the girl and invited her to be a part of his circle. An offer that couldn't be refused. All the while, Fatima graduated secondary school and enrolled in Altona College with the intention of studying Architecture. While it wasn't easy, she was able to balance the duties of her social and educational life. At least until Hercules began to take close interest in her. He was able to dote on her and showered her with gifts, among them a Slugma he caught at her request. Before long Hercules had taken her in as his girlfriend. Their relationship was smooth for a while until Hercules introduced Fatima to his drug pushing business. She wasn't afraid of using drugs, but she knew peddling it was a dangerous endeavor. Initially she refused but after nearly being beaten to death she was forced to comply. The unassuming nerd had become a drug mule. Fatima eventually completed her degree but due to the stagnant nature of her current job and a competitive job market she was unable to find a reliable source of income. That was until she met a Pokemon coordinator at a Poke Center while shopping for potions for her Slugma. They somehow engaged in an enriching conversation, planting the seeds for Fatima's future career. After months of schooling, she received her coordinating license and began her journey as a coordinator. While her Slugma Alma was good enough company, she needed more Pokemon if she were to succeed as a coordinator. As good luck had it, she encountered a lost Roggenrola wandering around aimlessly near her home and took it in. As long as she does her job, trouble doesn't actively search for Fatima. That said, she's been growing increasingly concerned over a new project Hercules has been invested in.
