He has a preference for loose informal wear. Baggy shirts but tight jeans. Anything that makes him look good and provides a sexual appeal really.
Vash was born to a rather simple family. His mother a receptionist at the local hospital and his father a school teacher. He began school early due to his father teaching him reading and writing from pretty much the moment he was conceived. He learned his father often liked to read to him in his mothers stomach usually fairytales. So maybe that is why when he turned eight realized he wanted to be an artist.Zera • Soubi, Loveless
His parents were hesitant but supportive thinking it was just a childish dream. It wasn't every year in school his extra class was always art. He loved it; working with clay painting, drawing, sketching and even doodling. It sometimes interfered with his schooling instead of taking notes he'd idle draw and zone out of everything around him. He was eventually force to pay attention by his father or have to suffer by being grounded.
In tenth grade the art program was shut down. Devastation hit him as he was forced to pick something else. He only wanted art though but was unable to do that. So he took up carpentry instead. It wasn't the same but he could still create things. It was ten times harder than working with clay. He had touse math and science to create angles and plan patterns and designs. Oddly enough he found he did not hate it however whenever it came to the polish and paint job it was like his passion for art was renewed. Picking up the brush was like coming alive.
Towards his last year of high school he sat out in the back of the school. He often liked going there to draw the trees at various angles trying to discover a way to make them captivating. It was there he met who would become his lifelong partner. A blue ralts leaning against a tree beaten and bruised. No doubt abandoned by someone cruel. But the reason for the abandonment is what made Vash fall in love with it. Pale blue eyes almost so pale they looked white looking at him shimmering with tears. Obviously blind and scared Vash could not leave it.
Suddenly bringing home a pokemon his parents were naturally upset. However his heartfelt plea to take care of the blind pokemon left little room for anything else but acceptance. He named him Alexander a regal name for a beautiful pokemon. Naturally he just started calling him Alex for short however.
College rolled around and of course he chose art school. His parents argued with him about it saying it was time to pick a 'real career' which earned his ire. Due to his good grades he was able to get a few scholarships and the rest he paid for by painting. A lot he did many portraits for people even if he found them less than beautiful. He worked so hard to please his mentors. He began to lose his motivation for art as it became a task.
In his depression he turned to lazing about on the couch watching tv. Boredom starting to rule his world. Til he saw the royal family. The dark skin and white hair a perfect combo. He found himself awestruck by them. He had to paint one. He set out with a purpose. Taking a break from school he made his way over to the royal palace. He sat outside the gates day after day painting the palace as he waited to be seen and taken inside. If he was good enough he could paint for them. He had to be good enough; realistic the colors had to match just right even with the scene changing around him.
Eventually his persistence worked. He was invited inside and he presented his artwork. They were pleased and he was given permission to paint the royal family. His joy soared to new heights. He worked on the royals schedule as the Royal Painter for a time. He did not just have then sit and pose for him. Instead he followed them learned their favorite places. The places where he could see their depths beyond that of royalty. It was not always with their knowledge either leading many of the staff to believe he was a spy. He didn't care rather he would stake out those areas waiting for them. He painted each eyelash and every expression. Even if they chose not to keep it themselves he would treasure his creations.
Once he was finished the payment was more than he had even desired. In truth all he had desired was to paint what beauty he saw. With royal paintings on his resume he had no desire to return to school. Instead he used the money to start traveling and paint the beauty he sees. Every so often returning to his flat in the city to present his art and sell it to the masses.
Yes this was the life he had been dreaming of.
