    changes September 1st
Summer is here in Numora! With longer, hotter days and pleasantly cool nights, the region is bustling with life. Festivals and events are seen almost daily and school is finally out until the fall. This is the perfect time for Trainers young and old to get out and see the world! Just make sure to bring lots of water, Numora's summers are scorchers!

We refuse to work with you, mere human!
Some Pokémon are rare. This means that you have to look a little longer and a little harder for them than regular Common or Uncommon Pokémon. There are three kinds of Rare Pokémon on-site, and I'll explain them here.

RARES can mean rare Pokémon in general, or the regular type of rare. You need to wade through four encounters in a mod thread before you happen upon a rare, and then a mod will roll the dice through the list and spawn it for you. Regular rares are always rare, and cannot be obtained in special areas or by doing certain things. You'll have to rely on the RNG for them, one way or another.

Eevee / Vaporeon / Jolteon / Flareon / Espeon / Umbreon / Leafeon / Glaceon / Sylveon
Riolu / Lucario
Zorua / Zoroark
Absol
Mimikyu
Dratini / Dragonair / Dragonite
Larvitar / Pupitar / Tyranitar
Bagon / Shelgon / Salamence
Beldum / Metang / Metagross
Gible / Gabite / Garchomp
Deino / Zweilous / Hydreigon
Goomy / Sliggoo / Goodra
Jangmo-o / Hakamo-o / Kommo-o

STARTERS are just that -- starters. You've never seen a Charmander in the wild in the games, have you? Well, you probably won't here, either. Starters are snapped up faster than you can say "Slowpoke" in Numora. Characters with the Researcher Class, however, might have a bit more luck when it comes to finding them. While they are classified as Rare, a character may start with these pokemon.

Bulbasaur
Charmander
Squirtle
Chikorita
Cyndaquil
Totodile
Treecko
Torchic
Mudkip
Turtwig
Chimchar
Piplup
Snivy
Tepig
Oshawott
Chespin
Fennekin
Froakie
Rowlet
Popplio
Litten

FOSSILS are fossils. You can bring them to the Pokémon Lab in Widewater to have them restored, but they probably won't remember their past lives. Fossil Pokémon are always restored at level 15, but you can only choose to dig for fossils in the Screeching Caves (Depths) instead of doing a fifth encounter. If you do so, however, it can't be guaranteed that you'll get the Fossil you want, so be warned.

Kabuto (Dome Fossil)
Omanyte (Helix Fossil)
Aerodactyl (Old Amber)
Lileep (Root Fossil)
Anorith (Claw Fossil)
Shieldon (Armor Fossil)
Cranidos (Skull Fossil)
Archen (Plume Fossil)
Tirtouga (Cover Fossil)
Tyrunt (Jaw Fossil)
Amaura (Sail Fossil)

BANNED are Pokémon that can't be owned. This includes all legendary Pokémon, the Silvally line, and Spiritomb, although the latter can be encountered and battled in Old Ardale. Legends and mythical pokemon are all considered myth here. There is a wide spread of beliefs across the region ranging from them to being fake to being deities, but they can never truly be encountered or found. Type:Null and Silvally will forever be banned as their backstories do not support there being a large number of them that just anyone can catch. These pokemon are also not allowed to ever be encountered or seen in histories, any sighting of them will have to be through story books, beliefs, or events on site.
